OUR KEW GARDENS PROJECT

Creating a beautiful space for Victoria from the beginning...

Our customer Victoria of the enviable Instagram page @summerhousestyle was in the midst of a dramatic renovation to her home, with a beautiful vision of creating a space for her family to relax, unwind in and enjoy.

We were involved with a variety of separate projects throughout her renovation from carpentry work throughout all the bedrooms as well as window stylings.

With a kerb-facing living room bay window, there no doubt that privacy was a priority for Victoria from the very beginning of the renovation.

She opted for tier on tier shutters to help retain the privacy she craved, as well as maximise on the abundance of light streaming through her window, creating the ideal spot to relax with a magazine!

Victoria's panel configurations for her shutters also meant she is able to fully open the top panels to create a cafe-style effect, which helps to add character to her beautiful decor.

Bespoke wardrobes and shutters

We designed and built bespoke wardrobes throughout all the bedrooms...

Victoria knew the exact look and feel she wanted throughout her home and we were delighted to be able to design and create some beautiful wardrobes for the bedrooms.

Our wardrobes have created the perfect storage space in the Master bedroom, completed by charming brass knobs from Armac Martin and finished in Portland Stone from Little Greene Paint Company. Our shutters help provide the privacy by night and project beautiful beams of sunlight by day.

...as well as 'secret' storage for the living room and under the stairs.

Victoria wanted a seamless feel throughout her home without the look of clunky storage units.

Within her living room, we created six 'secret' floor to ceiling storage units disguised by panelling along the wall, which were perfect for housing books, toys, games and even a printer!

Pop out catches meant there was no need for handles with the cornice and skirting extending across the units. Painted in Rolling Fog Pale by Little Greene Paint Company, this beautiful unit is able to hide the accumulation of bits we use day to day in order to create a clear and calming space.

We are delighted with the final look of this space now this room is complete!
