OUR WATFORD ROAD PROJECT
Putting the finishing touches to a full house renovation, starting with beautiful cafe-height shutters...
Our customer Sasha and her husband of @brookes5properties was undergoing a full house renovation of their detached property in St Albans, with the view of creating a beautiful family home for them, their children and their dog, Darcey!

They required window stylings throughout their home and we were delighted we could be a part of this wonderful forever home transformation.
​
They opted for cafe-height shutters in their downstairs living room as they wished to maximise on light, whilst maintaining privacy. It's a common misconception that cafe height only means halfway up the window; we were able to perfectly align the height of the shutters to the dimensions of the window to ensure a seamless finish from outside and in.

A stylish contrast between the blue/black hues of Farrow & Ball's Railings with the off-white of our shutters, partnered with sophisticated parquet flooring has created a cosy and enviable living area.
Elegant bespoke velvet curtains were installed in the bedroom...
Sasha wished to have curtains that matched the headboard of her bed and we were able to source an elegant velvet fabric from Villa Nova that helped transform this master bedroom into a masterpiece!

A captivating wide-width velvet material with an irresistibly soft, delicate texture and beautifully rich sheen that gently catches the light was no compromise for the equally as decadent decor that completes this room.
​
The curtains were finished on a wave header with a bespoke black metropole; a look that wouldn't look out of place in an upmarket hotel room!
​
We completed the project by installing Roman blinds in several rooms, including the downstairs cloakroom (pictured below). This beautiful fabric from Black Edition completed this bold and striking room!
